Nelson Gantz, MD, passed away on June 20, 2006 of cancer. Dr. Gantz, a noted epidemiologist and expert on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, was Chief of Infectious Diseases at Boulder (Colorado) Community Hospital.
He was one of the doctors who developed the clinical definition of CFS, wrote many journal articles on the subject, and was a co-author of the classic book Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A Comprehensive Guide to Symptoms, Treatments, and Solving the Practical Problems of CFS.
