| | | | Filmmakers Daneen Akers and Stephen Eyer take viewers into the world of a family living with fibromyalgia. It's a mother/daughter story, and along the way there are interviews with medical experts and other FM sufferers. It's a poignant look into this complex disease and an excellent opportunity for viewers to gain real knowledge about FM and those who live with it. Just as important, the film is a journey of hope. | | | | | | | | Q & A Session · Effects of surgery on FM/ME/CFS? · Can magnets increase energy? · 'Good Doctors' list for FM? · Assistance info message board? · Gogi berries good for FM? · New Chat Room setup? | Comments & Suggestions · Low DHEA made life flat · Negative side-effects of Zanaflex™ · More chemical sensitivities info · Suggest thyroid message board · Educating the 'Earth People' · More flu shot thoughts | | Please share your thoughts with us! New Attitude, New Options How many times have we said, "I can't do that anymore?" For some things this may be true; for others we don't know unless we try. In our early stages of learning to manage our pain...we were consumed by fear. When we tried to do something, the result was "I can't." We had found our safety net, a way of protecting ourselves. As we learn to manage our pain, we will better understand our limitations. Our attitude will shift from one of fear to one of "I might not be able to do that, but I'll try another way." With this change of attitude comes a change in options.
